Mission Uganda 2010

Mission Uganda is coming faster then we expected.  We only have 2 months left before we go. 
Thinking back when I made the decision to go (August), it seemed like plently of time.  We have accomplished so much so far, as far as fund raising - A huge garage sale, 5 or 6 brat stands, craft shows, sweets at the football game, flower bulb sales, candle sales, Uganda calanders, spaghetti dinner, silent auction and personal requests.  

One of our team members has been organizing informal gathering for us to get to know each other and we just had a Christmas gathering with spouses, to help encourage communication between the group.

We been having meetings now every 2 weeks.  Currently we are working on our projects that we are going to be doing while we are there.  Construction, orphanage - House of Hope, Living Hope and working at the IDP camps.  I will talk about these more in other posts.

We have a great group for this trip and I am excited to work with them.
